The Sound of Color: Yellow

Often determined by wavelength, some research indicates color is more accurately calculated by frequency, a measure of sound. If sound reverberates color, how can this influence your creative?

Sir Isaac Newton is first credited with correlating yellow with the note “E”. Striking a major key like a trumpet, yellow can be heard as grand fanfare or a piercing howl. The variation in tone lends instability and delirium to yellow’s sound. A warm color, yellow vibrates nearer with pulsating energy from the center of the spectrum.

In this still from Buzzr, Betty pops off the teal backdrop bordered in sunny blond tones. Pineapple-hued Buzzr bolts vibrate with the dynamic motion and melody of classic game shows. The intonation is at once upbeat and attention grabbing. Get in tune with all the classic games now on Buzzr Network.
