Color EQ: Purple

Although favored by royals from the Persian to Byzantine Empires, purple holds a humble origin. Ancient dye-makers extracted snail mucus and cured it in sunlight to produce purple pigment. The shade is believed to carry divine connotations, widely representing spirituality and enlightenment. Captured by the counterculture as well, the color summons unconventional artistry. Purple is particularly intriguing as it rarely occurs in nature. By the 1850’s, synthetics made purple widely available; yet the mystique of its aristocratic heritage remain.

Fivestone’s branding package for Buzzr is buoyantly bright. In lilac and lavender, the creative reflects the enchantment of nostalgia. 3D text and shapes replete with fancy offer a fantastic reprieve. Immature in a youthful sense, these purples offer a playful shot at luxury.

Alternately, our main title for Seeking Sister Wife taps into the mysterious nature of purple. Rich wine tones are vigilant, reflecting the sophistication and complexity of this series. Layers of heather and mauve mirror the progressive, plural storyline.

Take in these regal tones on the Buzzr Network, available on Pluto TV, or Seeking Sister Wife on Discovery Plus.
